Barcelona defender Umtiti posts special farewell to Lecce

Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti has posted a farewell to Lecce.

Umtiti has rebuilt his career on-loan in Italy.

He declared: "First of all, I would like to thank Mr Corvino and Lecce for reaching out to me when other teams doubted me. Thank you for your trust. I have found a team with values and an exceptional mentality. We had a goal at the beginning of the season and we have achieved it through hard work. For me, this salvation is equivalent to winning a title.

"I am lucky to have been part of this group, this team. It's an incredible human experience. Thank you guys, my team, the staff for helping me. Thank you Mr. Baroni. Thanks to the fans for their support from the first to the last day. We are united forever.
