AC Monza go for Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti

AC Monza are making a move for Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti.

After an outstanding six months on-loan with Lecce last season, Umtiti is again on the agenda of major European clubs.

A return to Lyon has been mooted for the France international.

However, Monza are also keen to bring Umtiti back to Serie A for the new season and have the spending power to match OL on contract terms.

Sport says Umtiti will be available on a free transfer as Barca negotiate a contract payoff with the player's representatives.
